The Boy Who Floats

A curious mind

Climbed to heights

That lowered eyes

Could not find

There's nowhere else to go!

Shouted the boy

And so,

The boy began to float

Mom! Dad!

Look at this!

Wow! Now get down this instant!

But the boy couldn't,

He'd been diagnosed with The Floats

A virus of curiosity that turns the wind into a boat

Who knows where it will take you–

Through the rivers, the lakes, the ocean blue?

Perhaps to the top, the point, the peak's view.

But there is one thing missing

A friend

Someone to go fishing with

Because when the seas get a little rough

Me, Myself, and I will not be enough

Life is better

From this point of view

And it doesn't hurt, when you make room for two.
