Silent voice

A thousand word smile

That lights up the hall

For miles and miles

You will lead your people

To a place

That is difficult to fathom

There is not much speak

Yet you're worth a whole book

I wish I could stay for the last word

Even for a peak

But it's impossible to look

The pages are too heavy

And it's not all gobble dee-gook!

It's worth as much as gold

And this book

Will certainly not grow old

Wrinkly maybe

But the story

Man what a story

It has no choice but to live on forever

Transferred through air

From mouth to ear

And back again

So hold these words tight

Like you do yours

Silent voice
